Great work Emerald class we are nearly half way through the school year! Time flies when you’re having fun and this has definitely been the case in Cycle 2! We have gone back in time and researched Anglo Saxons and Vikings, experimented in Science with States of Matter and created our own illuminated letters in Art.

Reminders

  • Homework is sent out on a Friday and should be returned to school on a Wednesday.

 

  • Spelling test every Friday.

Cycle 2

During our last learning cycle we had lots of fun in Emerald class. We have worked extremely hard in all our subjects and our aim is to keep up the hard working atmosphere we have created. I hope that this cycle we can be successful learners once again!

Welcome back to a new year at Brentnall; I hope that everyone has had a lovely break. I would like to welcome your child to Emerald Class.

This year your teacher will be Miss Gorton. Also working in Emeraldwill be Mrs. Kellyand Miss. Byrne.  

Homework

This year homework will be sent out on a Fridayand should be returnedto school on a Wednesday. Each week will include a piece of Maths and a set of spellings that will be tested on a Friday.

Diary

Every child in KS2 has been provided with a school diary, this should be taken home every night along with a reading book that has been chosen by your child. The diary is to be signedand returned the next day to show your child has read at home (15-20 minutes).
