What a fabulous start to the year Year 6 have already had! They are working super hard already and I am sure they can keep it up!
This term we have started our booster sessions at 8:00am on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Your child will be invited to these so keep an eye out! These, along with our day of learning, will help your child get ready for the End of Key Stage 2 Assessments.
P.E. – Please make sure your child has their P.E. kit in for the whole week as P.E slots differ from week to week.
Homework – We will still be sending homework out on a Friday and this will be due back in on Wednesday. Please encourage your child to complete this over the weekend so if they have any issues they can speak to me about it on Monday.
Diaries– Children need to bring their diaries in every day, signed from yourselves at home to say they have read to someone at home. They win a dojo point if they read each night and have their diaries in school signed!
Topic– During History, we are studying the Industrial Revolution and during Science we are studying Evolution and Inheritance.
With the weather getting colder and colder, please make sure your child comes to school with suitable shoes and a suitable coat.
