Cycle 4
Hooray!!! Year 6 SATs are over and we are incredibly proud of how hard they have all worked. All the hard work has paid off this year so far and we are confident that all children worked to the best of their ability during test week. A huge well done to the children!
We will now continue to work on some writing pieces, maths investigations and cover WWII in our topic and art work.
Year 6 are lucky enough to continue swimming together for the rest of the cycle and will be attending for the next 7 weeks on a Thursday morning so please ensure your child brings their swimming kit with them on this day.
Transitions
This term, children will be invited by their high school for a transition day. Please ensure you are aware of when your child’s transition day is and please take them to the high school on this day.
Prestatyn
We are looking forward to Prestatyn commencing on Monday June 24th – Friday 28thJune. We will be in touch about a date to attend a meeting with further information on activities and a kit list.
P.E. – The children will have their 2 P.E. slots a week now so please make sure your child has their P.E. kit in for the whole week as P.E slots differ from week to week.
Diaries– Children need to bring their diaries in every day, signed from yourselves at home to say they have read to someone at home. They win a dojo point if they read each night and have their diaries in school signed!
Uniform– Please ensure your child comes to school with the correct uniform which in Year 6 consists of:
White Shirt
Blazer
Black trousers/skirt
Black school shoes
Tie
Jumper
Hair tied back
As always, please come and see us if you have any questions.
