Cycle 4

Your Year 4 teachers this year are Mrs Mendham and Miss Savage.

Uniform

We would just like to remind you to put your child’s name in all items of their uniform, including coats.

PE:

PE lessons will now be on Tuesdays and Thursdays. On Tuesday we will have indoor PE as normal and on Thursdays we will be going swimming. We suggest your child brings their kit in at the beginning of the half term and then take it home at the end of each half term to be washed. You may choose to wash your child’s PE kit more frequently.

Music

We will have Mr Garbutt, our music teacher, coming in to teach us Music on Wednesday afternoons. The children will be allocated a brass instrument and will need to be kept at home to allow the children to practice and they will need to bring it in every Wednesday for the lesson.

Homework

Homework is given out each Friday and needs to be returned by the following Wednesday. This will include a piece of Maths homework and spellings to learn weekly. If for any reason the homework is not handed in by a Thursday morning, there will be a lunchtime club on that day where the children will have to complete any missing work.
