Children’s Author, Chris Kay, Visits Brentnall
The experienced children’s author and illustrator, Chris Kay, joined us on World Book Day to celebrate with us our love of reading. The children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 were spellbound listening to the adventures of his wonderful character, the ‘Hooba Looba’. Children in Year 1 and Year 2 also took part in inspirational workshops to create and describe a new friend for the ‘Hooba Looba’ and wrote wonderfully detailed descriptions. A selection of the descriptions are already on display in school and we hope that you enjoy reading them. We would like to thank Chris for sharing his books with us and can’t wait to write with him again!
