Head Teacher’s Message of the Week
The Spring Term is now well underway, the children have settled back into their daily routinues and I have seen some excellent learning right across school, particularly in reading and writing. The colder weather has certainly arrived with temeratures this week reaching below freezing. Mr. Faulkner does a brilliant job of keeping the school grounds clear but please do take care when travelling to and from school. Should the weather impact the running of the school, we will keep you updated via our website and text message facility. Have a lovely weekend! Mr. Thompson
Letters
Did you know?
That we have a translate facility on our school website? If you would like to read the website information in your preferred language, you can do so by using the ‘select language’function located at the bottom of the home page
NEW!
We have added a new tab under the ‘letters to parents tab’ called ‘translate letters’, here you will be able to view any letters that have been sent home in your chosen language.
Reception Class Photographs
Miss Livesey is asking all children in her class to take a photo of your family doing something special together i.e celebrating Eid, birthdays etc.
These can be brought into school or sent via email to brentnall.earlyyears@salford.gov.uk so the children can share their cultures and the different ways they celebrate with the rest of the class before adding the photos to a display.
Please send photos by Monday 28th Jan.
Cold Weather
This week, we sent a letter home outlining the steps school will take in the event of extreme weather. With this in mind, please ensure the School Office has your most recent contact telephone numbers.
As the temperatures have recently dropped, please ensure your child comes to school with a warm coat, hat, gloves and a scarf.
