Rememberance Day
This week the children have been learning about Armistice Day in their lessons and have spent time creating work to mark this occasion. On Wednesday the whole school came together for a special assembly where their work was shared, we saw some beautiful poppy artwork and acrostic and ‘Flanders Fields’ poems were read out ahead of our two-minute silence to remember the fallen.
Later in the day, our School Council members visited the local cenotaph to lay a selection of our children’s work.
