Brentnall Academy is part of United Learning Trust whose Trustees hold the ultimate legal responsibility for the governance of its schools. All United Learning schools have a local governing body (LGB); the Chair is appointed by the United Learning Group Board. Details of the Chair and members of Brentnall Academy's local governing body can be found below, together with any financial or business interests.

Local Governance arrangements for Brentnall Primary

A school Improvement Board (SIB) has been formed to provide focused local governance support to the leadership of the school as it continues on its school improvement journey within United Learning.

The school improvement board is constituted as follows:

Chair of the Local Governing Body:

  • Simon Davies

Membership:

  • Simon Davies - Chair, SEND and Curriculum 
  • Judith Richens - Vice Chair and Safeguarding
  • Lisa Anderton - Attendance, Parents and Community 
  • Vicki Chadderton - Health and Safety and Pupil Premium 
  • Fardous Abonijim - Early Years Foundation Stage

These will need to declare pecuniary and business interests.
